you can't compare genshin to hsr when it comes to animations. hsr is a turn based game while genshin isn't, almost everything is a time limited challenge(abyss, stygian, theater or literally any challenge in the game) so expecting genshin to give you hour long gameplays is stupid because how are people supposed to do anything then? the style is meant to be SIMPLE people. but that doesn't give genshin an excuse to be lazy which they have during the nod krai patch HOWEVER they have been visibly improving the animations(vesna vodyanitsa dialogue animations literally everything snezhnaya is so much better than the other nations in VARIOUS aspects one of them being the story because it was arguably the best thing that came out of genshin). in other words, genshin is improving while hsr isn't putting effort anymore(in many things because the models are actually the worst out of all hoyo games and they've never tried to improve that, the story is ass and the HP inflation and the powercreep because omfg a character's ULT doesn't even scratch the enemy). hsr deserves the hate it gets right now and they need to improve alot of things.

hsr fans really cant take criticism and have to drag down genshin with them.. NO animations are not the only thing that matters, there is gameplay, character designs, lore, how f2p friendly it is, exploration..ect and if animations would be the only thing that matters, wuwa would be the best anyways

everyone has their own opinion what is good on the game and different games have different stuff presented differently, someone may like the simplicity of genshin's animations, someone may love hsr because it's turn based, someone may like zzz for fighting mechanics and so much more stuff in all thes games that are different are attracting the audience who loves exactly what the game is giving them so if you dislike the game you shouldn't force yourself to play it and instead find something that would fit your taste
