@my_diamond_pink: Yellow pearl leaping into Yellow diamond’s hand is so funny and cute 😭 // #Stevenuniverse #edit #fypppppppppppppp #fypppppppppppppp #fypppppppppppppp

Strazza :

Their size actually depends on the planet’s they’re on atmosphere, idk in which episode but one of the crystal gems explained it.

🐸 :

I always thought it was funny when lapis’s hair would randomly get huge 😭💔

Gius :

because steven universe was animated by two different studies and the proportions are wrong

￶ ￶ :

The way EVERYONES SIZES change in this show 😭 peridot increasingly shrunk over the seasons and the perspective in many scenes were just bad and off (Connie’s large ahh head) they didn’t use references while animating I think

☆' 𝘑.𝘋. :

that birthday episode where connies head is fucking massive makes me so angry

Lasse :

I actually love the inconsistency in Steven Universe so much! It’s a big part of the show and part of the beauty

PikoVengut :

🪸⚛️Isaac⚛️🪸 :

I think they shapeshift sizes to be more comfortable in their environment

Orange :

Time zones

ElBusAlv :

steven universe is known to be very inconsistent with sizes. very rarely they're on model. that's because the storyboarders drew the characters like that and the animation crew just followed what they were given

☆🌌👽becca🚦☆ politely :

🪲mila—☆ 📻🗣️ :

i love when theyre gigantic

𝐄𝒔𝒕𝒉𝐞𝓻𓍼ོ :

The size of the diamonds

Tony :

I get that its just inconsistent animation style... but in a show where shape shifting is a common power, I let it pass.

🪙Regina.onion🪙 :

I like to think the purposefully change sizes, like for example, they make themselves bigger to look more intimidating at times

_callmeagoodboi :

especially in the intro of Steven universe future lol

dani :

I mean , technically aren't diamonds able to increase size for other gems , so maybe they're doing it to themselves , but could also he because different drawing studios worked on Steven universe, so sometimes errors like this happens

mbnaylor :

I like to say they can like change their hight but max is there tallest/aways shorter then white

ditronia⏤͟͟͞͞❀ :

I think they should stay big it gives them more aura

GI🫶robot🫶lover255 :

This actually does extend to the concept art. i would say they were all around the same height as pink. So every single diamond had the same Height.

JotchuaTreePark444 :

Rebecca didn’t want to make size sheets to give more artistic freedom

Patches of Poppys :

what if they just change size for what they need to do

dcg061 :

Different planets have different gravity strength

🌝 :

They can shape shift

☆♟️ :

meaby they shapeshift
