i don’t normally comment, but this hits too close to home. My dads coworker is the father of the girl that passed, it was tragic and awful that she passed when she had nothing to do with this stupid shoplifter. I have a purple bracelet that says “Live Like Serafina,” given by her father to mine and I wear it for rememberance of her 💜

shoplifter driving the jeep is definitely dead wrong and deserves to go to jail and be held accountable for her actions. but having a high-speed chase because somebody took a couple things from Target and risking the lives of everybody in the community. . . . . .the cops should be held accountable as well. risk outweighs the reward 100 times over

Crazy concept but police chases (especially in this day and age) should be reserved for true dangers and community hazards. All they'd need to do is take note of the plate, apperances, and vehicle details. If someone's life isn't in grave danger, all consequences of the high speed chase are shared with everyone involved.

Shoplifting turns into fleeing and eluding the person could have just stopped and just gotten in trouble for the theft but nah they turned into a felon and killing somebody. Not the police fault at all.
