Un-neutered males can wander miles searching for a female in heat. I really hope he comes back it is so sad for you and I hate that you have so much guilt. It happens, we have ALL made a rookie mistake like this. You’re doing absolutely everything you can, and the fact you are so desperately trying to get him back after he was only with you for such a short time speaks volumes x

a lost cat is usually only 3-5 houses away, if he is new to the area he is most likely hiding and will come out when its dark. hope he comes home soon x

I help run a cat rescue charity. We've had cats escape from the pens/carriers very shortly after they arrived and we've not had a single one go missing forever. they've always been around and eventually we got them back. hopefully Bowie hasn't gone too far and he makes his way back soon. I highly recommend getting a humane cat trap from a rescue or Cats Protection. if he's not handleable, that may be your best shot of getting him back

My sister’s cat went missing for the better part of a year and then strolled in one day like nothing had happened 😅 we think someone tried to steal her and she managed to escape 💕

Hang any blankets and dressing gowns on your washing line/fences. Anything that smells like home that can carry on the wind. Scent is huge for cats. I hope your baby returns 💚

is he anywhere near where his old house was? he may have gone to there ? Also i know it’s not a nice thought but check the council as they have maybe found him if anything bad has happened to him🥺🥺it’s not a nice thought i know,but one of my cats was found in an RTA :(

Is luna sleeping on a blanket or anything? Could you maybe get something with her scent on it and leave it out? Or even better see if you can borrow a cat trap (Cats protection or something?) and put it in there? He will be home soon 😘

I dont usually comment but you are a breath of fresh air on social media. I have followed your account for a couple years now, mainly because your story has similarities to mine. I just never skip a video, you come across as a genuinely wonderful person who has faced adversity and gained this beautiful resilience to be happy and content. Just know that on the shi**y days with trolls and hate, your content does so much good. I know this sounds bat shit crazy but I've seen a few videos of people who's cat has gone missing and they say if you can find a random cat in the neighborhood and tell it your cat is missing and his name then within a couple of hours your cat will come back! Anything is worth a try!
