I wish people would recognize how urgent it is that we be constructive right now! I frequently see comments blaming some group or individual before descending into an all out personal attack on any commenter with different viewpoints — it’s wasting our energy on a distraction that separates us from collaborating on the solution! Being educated is vital, but the longer we focus on blame and shame instead of corrective action, the longer we collectively suffer.
