It is literally because sword characters would be too broken,think thats the same reason there hasnt been a polearm with 88.2 crit dmg like every other weapon type

Because Aquila Bennett is only 2% worse than C0R1 Nicole for hyper carries. Give him a 741 base atk sword with a teammate damage buff passive, and he's punching against C1r1 Nicole

it wouldn't be a big deal. currently Bennetts attack buff is capped to 1202. a 741 base attack weapon would push it to 1295, which is 93 more attack. 93 attack is about 10% attack for most modern dps. or 2 rolls. wouldnt be worth pulling a new 5 star over

there is always a balance between base atk and the second stat, more base attack=less cr or cd (or any other second stat) Kinich and Mavuika don't need that much cr because of their artifact's passive that's why their weapon has a little amount of cr, cause they don't need it
