Hey, I'm Paul. I believe getting a tattoo is a deeply personal journey, and choosing your artist is about more than just the art—it's about the connection and the experience. I'm here to make that experience as comfortable, clear, and collaborative as possible. My Journey & Style: I'm a Cardiff native who fell in love with Devon while studying Art at university. My one goal has always been simple: to make a living by creating every single day. In 2010, I found my calling in tattooing. My signature style blends geometric, pattern work, and blackwork realism, but I love the challenge of weaving in other influences to bring your unique vision to life. How I Work: Creating Your Custom Tattoo · The Design Process: Every piece I create is 100% custom. After you book, we'll brainstorm via email. I typically start drawing a few days before your appointment—this gives me time to fully research and absorb your idea to create the best possible design. I'll then send it to you, and we'll have plenty of time to tweak and perfect it together before you ever sit in the chair. · Tattoo Day: I run on routine, so I'll be fully set up and ready to go when you arrive. We'll first place the stencil and make sure you're completely happy with the size and position. Once we start, my focus is on giving you a lasting piece of art as efficiently and comfortably as possible. Happy to chat or you can zone out to Netflix/Disney+—whatever makes you most comfortable. I take minimal breaks to keep the momentum going, but we can always pause if you need to. A Little About Me Personally: Outside the studio, my world revolves around my family—I'm a husband and a dad to two kids and two dogs. About a decade ago, I discovered I'm on the autism spectrum. While surprising at first, this understanding has been incredibly positive, giving me a deeper self-awareness and better ways to navigate life and my work. (And it probably explains a few things if you've ever wondered about my focus or process!). When I'm not tattooing or drawing (which is about 95% of the time!), I'm enjoying family life. Have a Question? This post is pinned to the top of my page, so please feel free to comment below with any questions. Your questions help future clients too! Thanks for reading, Paul
