I’ve never seen dual gpus irl, so apologies if I sound stupid but do they function as a single GPU in terms of output or separately, ie can you have 2 games set to different gpus or they both use each GPU the same like SLI

I know you probably had a 1 gpu settup, ran into a memory issue, decided to get a 2nd card, then found out your cpu only supports 1 gpu or it splits the lanes weirdly so you had to get the threadripper to make sure you get the full x16/x16 instead of a x8/x8 that motherboards do with non threadripper cpus
