How does your dryer use? Double the amount of water as a washing machine? Drying machine machines even get hooked up to a waterline? I know mine does not.

As A person that is off grid. I have no idea how these people only use a few gals. a day ?? But I guess when they dont have a well. They dont wash much. Their body's, the outside deck, their home, the patio, laundry, pets. cars & trucks, equipment. Livestock. ??? I know I use about. 2000 gals a month.

I live alone and be using 120 gallons a day. I shower twice a day. I wash my hair twice a day. I flush my toilet 37x a day. I wash my hands 42x a day.

Those two in one machines use a dehumidifier to dry the clothes, so it shouldn’t be pulling water out of the your system while drying. The water that gets expelled is the water out of your clothes, and technically it’s been “cleaned” through evaporation so feel free to water plants with it

follow up. is the idea of using less water more about saving money on filtration maintenance than actually worrying about running out of water? I'm asking because when I can, I want to be able to use nothing but rain water for my house. a future project.
