There’s no reason to “take away the color”. Her wife over there like “and hear the words” before Raven says it. ITS OKAY THAT SHES BLACK! We live in a world with so many different people whether it’s skintones, cultures, religions, just regional differences in the same country, etc. and it’s good that we can see the differences in the media we consume, that we can learn and appreciate it, and that other people feel represented and feel like they have options for people they can relate to. Absolutely no reason for it to turn into “what if she was green”🫠

I used to say that I didn't see color because that is the way I was raised. I had a training manager that corrected me in my 20's and said to be a proper ally and friend you have to see color, use my whiteness to advocate and on top of that respect the history that happened to get where we are today. As a white male I took everything he said to me with my whole heart to do that.
