@manchesternews: A family from Wigan has told how their lives 'changed overnight' when their son developed a life-threatening condition at the age of five-years-old. Archie Musgrave was diagnosed with meningitis B in 2018. This developed into sepsis, a critical condition triggered by an infection that needs urgent treatment in hospital. Now aged 13, Archie continues to receive care at the hospital. He has undergone several operations and attends for regular check-ups, physiotherapy and occupational therapy. Archie's friends, family and local community have also helped fundraise. They raised £5,000 at a fun day in Hindley and have taken part in walks and sponsored head shaves. #manchestereveningnews #news #wigan #health
