I think it's awful to have to request them. it should be given like a birth certificate and pay for extra copies as we don't hear everything while in pain

I asked to just look over mine whilst in hospital just to see what happened and they refused to let me because they knew I was a solicitor.

Requested all 3 of mine and was relatively easy, received within 2weeks. As were hand written the copies and writing are not great but legible

At 6 weeks we had a scan at an EPAU, they refused me a physical scan photo, this happens to be the only photo of both my twins healthy together before we lost one. The things I’d do for that photo, I’m not sure we can get it back, can we? 🤍

I always carried my file with me, wasn’t left at the hospital so how could telephone conversations be recorded then? 🤔

That’s what I preferred physical notes! So much of badger was states ‘not published’ so I have no idea what the notes from observations say etc

my mum got (wrongfully) evicted when she had me in 1997. she lost all her notes in her old flat. i managed to get all my birth notes when i was 23 and now she has all three of her children’s baby scans 🥹

Historic notes 40 years + I’m assuming lost forever? I know I was a traumatic birth, I would like answers but sadly mothers weren’t told what was happening back then.
