I’ve paid off phone means you don’t have to pay a mortgage payment anymore. But you still have to pay taxes and insurance. You still have to pay for upkeep and maintenance. You still have to pay for improvements and renovations. And if the home is 30 or 40 years old. You get to pay to replace every FN thing in the whole goddamn place.
