I feel a lot of pain in my thighs, like my skin, if I poke it slightly or try to massage it it feels like my skin hurts and also I bruise really fast. When I went for my orthopedic exam the doctor pressed around specific points in my arm and legs to see if I felt any pain ( for other affections that I have) and the next day I was filled with polka-dot bruises on my arms and legs. And yes I have that texture on my arms and legs. I can't pinch my skin on my legs but I can in my underarm and if I try to "squeeze" or feel I can feel little lumps inside

International guidelines (German S2k & Delphi Consensus) state that fat alone isn't lipedema. Without constant, intense pain to the touch and extreme disproportion, it’s just common obesity or lipohypertrophy. The 'nodule/lump test' in videos is a myth; anyone with cellulite or excess weight has subcutaneous nodules. A real diagnosis requires specialized clinical exams exclusively by Vascular or Plastic Surgeons—not general doctors. I fell into this internet trap myself and visited 3 specialists this year (2 vascular, 1 plastic). They all ruled out lipedema, explaining that lumps, cellulite, or tenderness under pressure are normal anatomy, not a disease. I’ve already lost 10kg through diet and my body responds perfectly. Stop letting videos pathologize normal female bodies!"

I feel like my daughter might have it. She is a bit overweight so I’m not sure if it’s that or lipedema. She has a ton of other issues so it wouldn’t surprise me to add another to the list poor baby.
