Well the issue with polyester isn’t the esthetics for me, there’s a lot of clothes even in the mass market that look great. It’s how it can make you sweaty and be uncomfortable and cold

well maybe, but to me polyester can cause skin irritation and lessens the life of the garment. Cotton and other natural materials are probably the better long life options. Admittedly I do own a few polyester garments that have held shape and still look good, but a severe minority.

This feels like not the best argument for polyester for the average person who wants to look good and be comfortable. I don’t know that anyone is wearing funky molded clothing like that on the reg, and I’d imagine the average viewer isn’t

I hate Polyester because it makes me sweaty + stinky and it's in most clothings these days! I've made this dress for a wedding out of 100% cotton and it was so breathable and figure hugging, I can't ever wear a polyester wedding guest dress again!
