@runthisshit8: A Cape Air Cessna 402C, registration N18VV, made an emergency landing at Boston Logan International Airport on September 17, 2024 after a hydraulic system failure prevented the landing gear from extending normally. During climb-out, the pilot noticed both hydraulic flow lights flickering and attempted to lower the landing gear before hydraulic pressure was lost. Only the left main landing gear successfully extended. The pilot returned to Boston and attempted the emergency landing gear extension procedure, but the nose and right main gear remained retracted. The aircraft landed on the left main gear before the right wing contacted a runway light during the rollout. The airplane came to rest upright beside the runway. The pilot and two passengers were not injured. The NTSB found that a fractured hydraulic line caused the loss of hydraulic fluid and prevented normal gear extension.
