You should refrain from posts like this as a doctor and save it for personal conversations with patients. It comes across as presumptive and not assuring. There are too many doctors now a days who can’t wait to stick a diagnosis of anxiety and/or not try harder for patients who have complex issues or patients with typically normal labs. Sure, not every patient is going to have an autoimmune disease, but that doesn’t stop a patient from having debilitating pain, rashes, fevers, etc that can mimic an autoimmune issue and now have to wait another several weeks, months, years for answers. That much time can kill someone. It’s sad :/

Sometimes it’s Autoinflammatory and not Autoimmune …. There’s a number of adult onset Autoinflammatory diseases and more are being discovered every year.

Oof. This would be the kind of doctor who believes a negative MRA over neck pain, headaches and a positive macaroni sign on a carotid ultrasound. I have Takayasu's Arteritis and have had both kinds of doctors.
