Hey. I am after a breast lift and implants from 10 years ago. Could you talk about low supply and the chances of fully being able to breastfeed after these. Thank you

I’m struggling with the same. My son wasn’t a premie but is only gaining about 4 oz a week. He’s meeting mile stones and doing great! Sufficient wet and dirty diapers. And he’s eating about 2-3 ounces every 2-3 hours. Any more and he throws up (dr wanted me to “top off” with a bottle I did use breast milk still). He was born at 7lbs 15 oz and dropped to 7lbs 2 oz. And at 2 months is now at 8lbs 10oz. My pediatrician was not supportive of bf at all and has non stopped pushed formula. I’m at a loss here on what to do. And these weight checks are stressing me out heavily. I don’t want to miss anything but he seems perfectly fine and is excelling everywhere besides weight gain. Any advice?

My baby just turned 2 weeks and he has a bit of jaundice in his eyes ! Since he was neon I’ve had to visit his pediatrician 2 times a day because he wasn’t gaining the “right amount of weight” they told me he wasn’t eating enough (I’m trying to ebf for the 1st time) hearing this made me cryyyy leaving the office TWICE ! The second time was because they told me to triple feed and add some formula in there ! I left crying AGAIN ! Safe to say I switched pediatricians 😅 he’s finally starting to gain some weight and I’ve just been feeding on demand with no timed feedings! Your videos have SAVED ME ! Thank you 😊 I was close to falling into ppd hearing lots of negative comments every appointment! Not to mention it was a C-Section

My son was born at 36 weeks 1 day. He was 6lbs 13 oz at birth. 6 lbs 6 oz when we left the hospital. At 4 days old he had dropped to 6 lbs 1 oz. They told us to supplement with formula. We tried. He would not drink it. So I just nursed him pretty much 24/7. He is now 6 weeks old and as of yesterday was 8lbs 3 oz. But they said he only gained about 5.3 oz a week which is to low.

It is normal for a baby 2 months to keep his thumbs inside his hands mostly of time? He also opens them

I started combination feeding since birth and now I’m trying to reduce the amount of formula I give and he is 7 weeks. He seems to always fuss and pull off the breast in the afternoons but his night feeds are all breast and he seems satisfied at night. I think there could be a supply or flow issue during the afternoons, any advice on how to get my supply up so that I don’t have to top up with formula during his day feeds? Many thanks 😊🙏

So early! Just want to say thank you for your videos. I was so scared of breastfeeding/pumping from everything online but you came across my FYP our first week home from the hospital, I have a 3 month old now and breastfeeding has been so chill!!

My baby seems to be super fussy between 5-8pm, I know it’s normal but I also think i produce less milk at this time. Can I pump to increase my supply for the evening?

Hi I’m a FTM here. I’m EBF for the past 3 weeks. I haven’t pumped once and I’m planning on either doing that or introducing formula.. what’s your thoughts? will she be in pain from the formula I don’t want to give her that. Maybe I try pumping how many times a day

I’m triple feeding , feed baby 8 times a day and always offer more milk in bottles after nursing and still my baby girl isn’t gaining enough . She only gained 4 oz in the last 9 days … she refuses to drink more. She’s alert and hitting milestones and sleeps well so I don’t know why she is so slow to gain and won’t take more

My baby is 1 month we had to combo feed to get her to gain wait since my supply wasn’t up, now that it is I want to go back to exclusively breastfeeding but my baby is screaming anytime I try to give her my breast. She can still latch it is just a process because she seems like she hates my breast. Do you have any pointers on her getting to feel comfort from my breast rather than stressed and wanting the bottle.

I exclusively pumped with my last baby, and we had to fortify her bottles with formula (I can’t remember the exact amount, but we were to add powdered formula directly into a breast milk bottle) because for some reason baby girl could not gain weight on my milk alone 🤪

The WHO as far as I know is the same as the RCPH growth charts in the babies book so the expected weight gain is the same by both?

Is it possible that babies spend their calories getting taller rather than gaining weight? My 10week baby is 90th+ centile for height and only 9th for weight and is very slowly gaining weight 😩😩. Shes meeting all her other milestones and is a very alert baby

Is it possible some babies are slow gainers until later on? My baby has moved from 0.4 percentile to just under 3 at 7 months and she’s gaining most of her weight now instead. My mum said I was the same when I was little!
