I told the principal, “I’ve told my son not to fight, but if you can’t protect my son, I’ll let him protect himself”. They changed how they dealt with him very quickly

The system is fucking broken. I had a group of guys bully me in high school constantly. One pushed me down the stairs. I went to the principal and told him. His response? “Boys will be boys.” Didn’t give a fuck.

My son was bullied in elementary school by a teachers kid. They never even told the teacher, she didn’t find out until 4 years later when my son finally pushed back. And they wanted to suspend him! I demanded a meeting with the parents!

It took my son being assaulted ON CAMERA for his school to do something. Filed a police report and told the administrators if they continued to allow this to happen I would go directly to the school board and the news.
