The first thing we do when we design any event isn't choosing a palette or a centerpiece. It's standing in the room and paying attention to what it's already telling us. For our Emerge Event Collective dinner at Mirbeau Inn & Spa in Beacon, the room had plenty to say. Mirbeau's French-inspired aesthetic gave us a remarkable foundation, so our job was to build on it, not cover it up. The florals took their cue from Monet, with soft color and a sense of movement that felt at home in the space. From there, every layer had to answer one question: does this complement the room, or compete with it? The linens, the lighting, the stationery and the entertainment all had to earn their place. That's the same philosophy we bring to every wedding we plan. When a venue has a strong identity, you're already ahead. The details just have to know when to speak and when to let the room breathe. Thank you to the team who brought this evening to life with us 🤍 . . .
