saying “I still like mine better” while actively threatening to not show up at the wedding if she decides to wear it is nuts to me. especially when they saw it at the same time and only one of them is engaged. like if I’m going dress shopping for me and my single sister calls dibs on a dress when it’s not even her day to pick one nor her time to even get married, she would be uninvited idc.

Tbh as I sister I get it, it’s like claiming baby names as kids, if she found it first it’s not that weird, but also if I wasn’t getting married I’d probably just give it to her. Key word is give though if my sister stole my baby name without me giving it up I’d be so mad

Honestly I understand her side too, but personally, if I found THE dress of my dreams and my sister, who's getting married way before me, falls in love with it too, I'm gonna let her have it and then when IM getting married then I wouldn't have to buy a whole new dress. And it would be pretty wholesome to get married in the same dress as your sister
