I live in Fort Worth Texas and some of our street lamps have plugs the homeless use. Such an easy fix to this problem!

My sister does street medicine and YES, thank you for this! They need phones to coordinate medical care, medical transport, help getting RXs, etc.

I run a homeless shelter in Nebraska. This is what I needed to hear today. Thank you for your kindness, care and understanding. We need more people like you! ❤️❤️

this is why I always push back when people insist that you should give homeless people food instead of money. first, they aren't all addicts and, even if they are, people can die from a lack of drugs they are physically dependent on if done cold-turkey rather than a controlled tapering. second, giving them food will feed them but giving them money to go into somewhere and buy food themselves also gives them access to shelter and temperature control and a bathroom and electrical outlets and the rare luxury of getting to choose what they want to eat instead of what a stranger assumed would be good for them. your money goes so much further when it is in their hands.

Just think, if we took all those flock camera solar panels and made them into free public chargers instead, what would the world be like?

I was homeless and had to pay $4-5 bucks for a coffee at Starbucks just to get stared at by people if a library wasn't available. So from the bottom of my heart thank you man

Thank you so much!! I don’t know why I never thought to do this, but I carry power banks with me. It wouldn’t take much to do the same thing in my area. I was homeless earlier this year and it’s only because good people helped me when I was struggling that I was able to get off the street.

sir, i am not only impressed by your conviction, but i am also HUMBLED by your persistence. i am 34 and feel so profoundly jaded, i go through cycles of activism and pessimism. thank you for the needed reminder to stay active. and the reminder that i am far to young to give up humanity 💛

As a mom of an adult child who is sometimes homeless… thank you. Because I just want to know she’s ok. And I can’t know that if her phone is dead.

Do you have an Amazon wishlist that we can shop from? I personally own a couple of portable batteries that can be recharged by solar. Perhaps this style of battery could be helpful in this population.
