I don't like posts at all unless I want to find them later tbh I just forget to. Also don't comment unless I have something to say. Idk it's just not a thing that goes through my mind "oh I watched this video I better like it" the algorithm works the same if I just watch the video. I guess I just never got the habit of doing it because I started using the internet before social media was a thing in the 90s

I have a few thoughts. One I genuinely forget to like. In the age of constant scrolling, I might enjoy a reel but not like it and then scroll onto the next. It’s not deliberate. There have been times that I’ve thought ‘oh go back and like that for them’ but me liking it has purely become something I do for the creator and not for me. Other occasions I’ve had an opinion on a reel. But I don’t want my friends list to see that comment - not cos it’s mean. Just cos it’s not for public consumption. I’ve sent the creator a DM and expressed by opinion that way.

The thing is why has it decreased? Now there are more tiktok users, but less engagement. And yes everyone is serveilling you, now it's creepier.

I didn’t get it either. Personally, when I see content that I don’t feel like engaging, the second time I see them, I either block or click “not interested.”
