I was anti prong collar BIG time. Then I got a 75 lb pitbull that was a stray and had no idea how to act right. That prong collar saved our lives.

We had 2 Dobermans... we went in knowing what HAD to happen when they were young. You HAVE to train big dogs. Or dont get one.

I have a suuuuper reactive dog on leash. To the point I can’t even walk her. We use a martingale collar…what’s the benefit of using the prong? And how long do you use it before switching back to a regular collar? I don’t love the idea of these but I’m desperate and will try anything

I have an 150lb corso, I use a prong and an ecollar (properly ), not because she’s aggressive but because if she runs after a squirrel she’s taking my arm out and dragging me. I think until you’ve had a large breed dog you should not judge anyone for using other training tools on their dog. As long as you use them properly, it’s completely okay!
