@moneystocker: Would you notice a millionaire if you passed them in the street? Probably not. That's because the vast majority or true millionaires don't spend lavishly on material things. If they did, they wouldn't be a millionaire. I'm not saying don't go for that sports car or that designer suit if it's truly want you want in life. But know that the real reason to build wealth is financial security, not to try and impress strangers that don't care about you. This is a really important mentality shift: - Don't give in to lifestyle creep (increasing your spend as you increase your income) - Don't get stuck on the hedonic treadmill (the insatiable need for more and more) - Don't confuse being a millionaire with 'spending like a millionaire' What do you think?
