What do you think about switching between brands? My audiologist ( who is fantastic) says my brain has learned from Oticon how to hear language as I have used Oticon since the beginning, some 20 years now.

I have a severe cookie bite hearing loss. all I've ever had is Oticon. I am looking at getting new hearing aids cause I lost kne and the warranty is out. any suggestions?
