History and statistics prove you wrong. USA's middle class was strongest when tax rates for the rich and corps were much higher. Every graph shows a huge affordability jump at the introduction of Raegan's trickle down economics.

All the Nordic countries that the socialists love make EVERYONE pay taxes, where in the U.S. the bottom 20% pay nothing at all.

Oh yeah, I think you maybe don't need the wealth tax, but you need to have it like they had in the '60s and '70s that a multi-millionaire pays less taxes than a school teacher now that never happened in the '60s and '70s and then you wonder why everything was cheaper. then I think there's a limit to how much like one of the multi-millionaire says he only makes $80,000 a year because everything is in hidden somewhere else and they just borrow from that. they have made it that they don't have to pay taxes. that's the key to this. if you let them keep going on that Jeff only makes $80,000 a year. it is part of the problem

So we can't tax their unrealized gains but they can borrow untaxed cash from those unrealized gains? That's a broken system. And BTW nobody is running on pure socialism.

What they want is a return to the United States 1950s tax code, where very wealthy people paid a reasonable amount in taxes. It's not socialism, it's old-fashioned American common sense.

I’m not a socialist but why are grocery prices so high? Why is everyday life getting more and more expensive yet politicians get richer and richer. I voted for Trump 3x but this second term has been terrible. Prices continue to rise and republicans will be smoked in the midterms
