LiDAR sensors constantly map a 20-foot, 90-degree zone in front of the device. The moment something flies through that map, the system checks its size and speed it uses LiDAR, radar, and AI vision to see if it matches a mosquito. If it does, a tiny motorized mirror snaps the laser onto that exact point and fires. And if there’s no solid background behind the target, the company says the laser automatically shuts off. A rotating base can expand the coverage to 360 degrees around your patio or campsite. And you can even run the whole thing from a power bank for around five hours. Photon Matrix says mass production has started, and it’s taking preorders for $1,088. I can’t tell if I should be terrified of this thing or completely in love with it.
