WHO SAYS A BAGUETTE-STYLE RING CAN’T HAVE THE PERFECT BAND? ✨ Usually, a three-stone ring with baguette side stones can be difficult to pair with a wedding band. The silhouette is strong, clean and structured. A traditional straight band can easily compete with it, while another geometric band can make the whole set feel too heavy. So instead of trying to match that structure, I decided to do the opposite. I designed the band almost like the lace skirt of a princess gown. The engagement ring is the fitted bodice — a 6.08CT marquise center stone framed by two sleek baguette side stones. Long, sharp, elegant and architectural. Then underneath it, the wedding band suddenly opens into something softer. Tiny diamonds follow a curved, lace-like silhouette, creating the feeling of a full skirt blooming underneath the structured upper half. That contrast is exactly what I wanted. Structured on top. Romantic underneath. Like a fitted gown opening into a dramatic lace skirt. 👗✨ And when the two rings sit together, the band doesn’t fight with the baguette side stones — it frames the entire engagement ring and gives the marquise even more presence. I don’t think a wedding band always has to “match” the engagement ring.
