@theultimatehumanofficial: What actually creates your mood? In this episode, I break down the relationship between the gut, neurotransmitters, and emotional regulation, including the important role serotonin plays throughout the body. The gut-brain connection is real, but autism spectrum disorder is complex and can't be reduced to a single neurotransmitter or nutritional cause. What this conversation can do is give us another reason to take gut health seriously when we're looking at the bigger picture of mental and emotional health.
You can hear that in their voice when they talk, they sound way to rational and without many emotions

Mark D Urry Creator of Emotion :
I live with a hardwired ND reality of logic and reason before emotion. I would describe my relationship with emotions as neutral. They are all present, just some a very quiet. It a doubled edged sword of freedom and brutality.

Our emotions are strong, its just we have learnt to internalize or contain them not expressed externally.

My daughter and I both have Asperger’s and I assure you we feel very strong peaks and valleys. Sometimes it looks flat but sometimes it doesn’t. This is a wild take

Maravi :
It didn’t stop being Asperger’s until like 2013, and it didn’t stop internationally until 2022. Relax in the comments about it. People diagnosed before then still call it that and you don’t even know when and where this video came from. The information is still mostly correct.

very much no
very few aspergers have flat affect
I often have joy, euphoria, elation, bliss
much more than any neurotypicals around me
Its only in tone of speech where you would be confused about flat affect
