Colon cancer survivor and I've had many colonoscopies. Eat lightly several days before, low fiber, no red meat, nuts or seeds. Day of prep is no food but have liquids you like so you stay hydrated. If you have the liquid prep, drink it cold and with a straw and chase it with something like Sprite. You'll do great! Odds are you're fine.

bestie ,,, i had the same experience as you last november but didn’t go to the doctor just bc but now seeing you schedule a colonoscopy makes me want to go ,, even tho my routine is back to normal

The procedure is easy. The prep is what sucks. I’d suggest cutting back on eating a week before so your body is less pissed when you can’t eat before hand.

I had the op at 7am in morning , which means at 6pm the night before you start the prep ( you start cleaning out an hour later and continue for a few hours) … then you repeat at 2am ( yeah more flushing of the system) … can’t eat solid food for 24 hrs , no coffee the morning of op or anything else.
