yup the day before my ex's vasectomy all of a sudden he was worried about his sibling, a sibling who he said cut him off and he cut off years ago. he then said he'd never do that surgery, that he wanted me to "mutilate himself" and he didn't want kids but "what if he did someday" (42 years old mind you) he scheduled it for himself btw, he always said he would and then BOOM it was my fault and his siblings fault and how dare I. I'm much happier without him around. no more men for me. I'm good forever. and that is the most tame relationship story I have, including the ones with that particular ex.
