I think Apple will, as it always has, wait for the imminent AI crash then scoop up the best pieces and rename them. I’ve had no doubt that if AI was really going to pan out, Apple would have been in the trenches. Instead, they’ve avoided the messy part, and will be ready to grab the bits that actually work.

For me Apple failed successfully. All of their main competitors are in too deep on AI and will be crippled or killed in its bust. While Apple having more money than god will invest in the future and cherry pick the winners.

Yes, but then back in 2024 nobody was expecting that apple hardware is soooooodammmm goood in running AI so they lower Mac mini in ram because of„shortages” but reality show it was just to good for this low € and what we can see now is continuing exploiting ppl no to get to much memory because they will run local llms so yheah jobs $$$$$$ it their ♥️

My son just got a job as a mechanical engineer for Apple. He’s super stoked for an ME guy. Who the heck wants more AI anyway? AI CEOs. We need more exciting hardware 💯 ! 🍎 There was no evolution in the Tim Cook era.
