Sesame Street 99 :
Synapse of movie (obviously spoilers) : this scene is a woman named Setha and her love interest in the movie Paulie D. Long ago Setha ran away from a slave plantation after being brutally beaten & 🍇d by the slave masters nephew. She ran with her two sons, and two daughters. When she was pursued and almost caught she attempted to unalive herself and her 4 children, but only was sucessful in unaliving 1 child before she was caught. The spirit of beloved turned into a Haint (angry voodoo spirit) and hung around Setha’s family. Paulie D , an old friend of Setha and former slave of the same plantation performs a ritual to cast the Haint spirit out, but it comes back manifested as a grown woman, beloved. Beloved casts a “root/spell” on Setha, and her daughter never, and haunts them, this scares her two other sons into moving away, leaving only Setha and Denver. Eventually after some time, rhe elders in the village perform a ritual to cast beloved away, where she disappears away in the end
