the problem isnt eating meat its the meat industry. people who act like veganism is the end-all moral truth are out of touch. it lacks nuance. people have health issues that require specific diets to manage. a lot of people cant afford going vegan. we should be working towards a more sustainable and ethical farming system, not the moral olympics that so many vegans make it out to be.

I'm vegan, but I don't really agree. You said in another video that for leftists to be logically consistent with their ideology against opression, then they must be vegan. But that makes the assumption that those non-vegan leftists regard the lives of animals similarly to the lives of humans, and that is not an assumption you can make about leftists because it isn't ar all part of general leftist ideology. Support for animal rights does often go hand in hand with leftism, but they are fundamentally orthogonal ideologies. I get that those folks don't align ideologically with you, and you are definitely not being absurd by calling them out, but calling them conservatives for not being aligned with an ideology that is separate from leftism is just a bad assumption.
