my uncle is blind. bro went in for accommodation and they said because he walks around he doesn’t need assistance. next time he went in he was running into walls on purpose. they finally accepted his petition. he played into their perspective for accommodation and it shouldn’t have to be this way

i researched the phenomenon in universities of students being denied their ADA accommodations. not a lawyer, but this does not sound ada-compliant! CONTACT YOUR LOCAL ADA CENTER, they are a referral service and can help!! having your most recent medical records/psych evals will be super helpful in proving your disabilities to universities!!
