First, I want to tell you nobody talks about the submarine navy, and they are the elite of the elite and my opinion anyone who can spend months and months under the ocean is a special kind of person and I mean that in a good way, I was in the Navy and I tended submarines on my ship. I was on the USS EMORY S. LAND AS-39. What I did on board there I’m not allowed to talk about and that’s part of the submarine navy.💪🏼🤫🫡

I thought those were decomissioned in late 70ies. Los Angeles class was used back in cold war. Pretty obsolete now... Just 4 torpedo tubes, no VLS

I was on a gulf tour in 03/04 and the sub appeared out of nowhere where in the middle of the ocean next to us and I thank god it was on our side because that’s a scary mfker…. The water displacement can’t be put into words when it surfaces at mock Jesus. I really don’t know how fast it was going but it was absolutely terrifying how fast and high it came up

The submarine in the video is a Virginia class boat not the USS Alexandria. I will leave a photo in the comments of this comment. Look at the base of the sail and you'll see the difference.

One more thing to add is that the USS Alexandria SSN 757 was deactivated on June 29, 2026 and is now located in Bremerton, WA waiting for her turn to be recycled.
