I work in Aus, we are allowed to have our drinks behind POS. I make sure to drink when I’m not serving customers. We like to stay hydrated, especially during summer.

I’m diabetic and wasn’t allowed to keep crackers or candy in my desk for emergencies when worked in an office. My manager said I needed to learn to manage my diabetes better. I didn’t care. I kept a small bag of candy in my desk, a small box of crackers and drinks in my desk.

I had a job that wanted to take away our water while working as a cashier at a grocery store. They told us we can use the water fountain in the back of the store if we needed water. I went to my doctor and got a doctor’s note stating I need water while I was working. The managers didn’t think someone would do that so they over turned that rule.
