The start of the long celebration for Christmas has already started. And it is a tradition in the Philippines, you will hear the Christmas songs already in the malls and everywhere. The countdown for Christmas as well has just begun last September 1.

Bro wait for the malls and most establishments in the Philippines to start their Christmas decorations as early as September. Mind you, I already saw Christmas trees in my office last night. I’m a Filipino but I was utterly surprised.

it's just how it is here in the Philippines. Christmas is very long so the crocodiles could bag as many money as they can from the people's money.

I think it’s a Filipino coping mechanism. A lot has happened, and a lot is still happening. In a world that feels increasingly chaotic, we Filipinos, resilient as we are, have learned to look for something brighter to hold on to—and for us, that’s Christmas. Yes, celebrating Christmas this early has always been part of our tradition. But perhaps that’s also why it comes in handy when we’re going through so much chaos. Christmas gives us something to look forward to. Maybe that’s the beauty of being Filipino. We don’t deny the chaos—we simply refuse to let it take away our hope. So while the world may be falling apart around us, we put up our Christmas lights, play our Christmas songs, gather our families, and choose to believe that better days are still ahead. 🥹 🎄 ❤️

Yeah kinda cringe actually and they'd be telling people like Christmas is no longer exciting or it's not the same anymore.. like dude, you guys are celebrating it way too long that's why the sparks and excitement are no longer there. Gotta chill out and wait til after halloween 😂

Philippines start celebrating Christmas season BEFORE Halloween/Dias Delos Muertos. 😅 We take a break exactly 4 days Oct 30-Nov 2 to celebrate the dead (Undas/Kalag-kalag), and then back to Christmas season.😅

we have 3 basic seasons in this country. dry season (mar-may), wet season (jun-aug), and Christmas season (the rest, because it lingers until Jan for 3 kings, and sometimes valentine's forces people to take down the xmas decor).

Let me explain it to you So, Christmas is on December 25, DecemBER it ends with BER, they call it the "ber months" because all of the months in there ends with BER(except for January) September is the start of ber months and they usually start decorating during September 1 to December 20, and then December 20-25 is when they actually start preparing the foods or buying the ingredients. They start removing the decorations after the new year. That's all I know, I'm half Filipino so I don't really know if I'm right.
