Solo leveling creator chugong has expressed interest in exploring stories focused on characters from the franchise’s deeper history, including igris and ashborn. Igris’ human identity, sian halat, has already received expanded backstory through solo leveling: arise, giving fans a glimpse into the legendary knight before his transformation into a shadow soldier. Although a full anime prequel focused on igris has not been officially announced, his unexplored history leaves plenty of room for a powerful standalone story. Igris remains one of the most iconic members of sung jinwoo’s shadow army, but his past before becoming the blood-red commander still holds many unanswered questions. Expanded material from solo leveling: arise has given fans more insight into his earlier identity as sian halat and the events surrounding his transformation. Chugong’s interest in exploring additional stories from the solo leveling universe has only made fans more curious about what could come next. An entire prequel following igris through his human life, battles, and eventual transformation could reveal a completely different side of the legendary knight. Fact source: Chugong’s published comments and solo leveling: arise material concerning igris and his expanded backstory. Disclaimer: A full igris prequel anime has not been officially confirmed. Future projects, story details, and character backstories may change depending on official announcements and production plans. #sololeveling #sololevelingedit #anime #animetiktok - @yahs_supersaiyan
