@shanekrauser: Most people ask whether a federal program is popular, compassionate, or effective. But the Constitution requires a different question first: Where does Congress get the power? The federal government was never designed to handle every problem in America. Its powers are limited and enumerated, and when the power isn’t delegated, Washington doesn’t get to invent it. Watch the video, then tell me: What is one thing the federal government does today that you believe belongs with the states or the people instead? This is the very definition of a “living” constitution. A living constitution is one that changes overtime. That’s why we have amendments because we change it overtime. If we stuck to the original constitution, we would still have slavery.

Well the founders were very smart. They understood the power grab and I bet they knew the law of unintended consequences and what happens when you do it at the federal level🥰🥰

Bravo. Now do a follow up on how there’s no such fucking thing as “judicial review”, which is a completely made up extra constitutional power that the court has been permitted to usurp and appears nowhere in article 3
