I have horrible vision absolutely horrible - without glasses I’m blind as a bat. I had to go see the ophthalmologist recently, and he looked in some of his gadgets at my eyes, and he told me that I had some of the prettiest eyes he had ever seen. I really didn’t know what to say and he said we see eyes hundreds of eyes every week and people will tell us how pretty theirs are but he said we see inside the eye and we really see the beauty. He also told me never to be upset if I had to go to an emergency department with somebody telling me that I had something wrong with my eyes. He said I just had some extra eye matter around my eyes that would do no harm, but it just made my eyes gorgeous. I felt a little bit better after that about being blind as a bat….
