@eddieabbew: Back in the day, the first thing we were taught with regard to bodybuilding, was that eggs were the number one source of protein. It was closely followed by red meat, poultry and then fish. I made sure I ate eggs on a daily basis - in fact, I used to consume 38 eggs a day. That was because I was a student nurse and had little time to eat on the wards. Drinking raw eggs became my staple protein. Do not underestimate the importance of eggs. They are very good for your immune system. #eddieabbew #abbewcrew #eatrealfood #eggs #wtfu

A lot of health influencers on social media always make false claims saying seed oils are so very bad for your health that you should never ever include them in your diet and that you should only cook with animal fats like beef tallow. Guess what? People in Japan actually cook with a lot of seed oils, don’t use very much animal fats like beef tallow, only eat red meat in small amounts and say to reduce your saturated fat intake, prioritise fruit, vegetables, salad and leaner meats and fish and mostly cook from scratch. They still eat the odd occasional ultra processed food and the odd occasional food from food places like McDonald’s and Pizza Hut every once in a while as a treat. Japan is actually one of the healthiest countries in the world and has the lowest rate of heart disease as a result of cooking with mostly seed oils rather than mostly animal fats. If seed oils were really so bad for you then Japan would be a very unhealthy country, but it turns out Japan is actually one of the healthiest countries in the world. Balance and moderation is key to a healthy diet and a healthy lifestyle, not this orthorexic mindset of avoiding ultra processed foods and seed oils completely and only cooking with animal fats and always cooking meals from scratch all the time with fresh ingredients
