the more drivers/accounts there are the lower the fares, problem is we're a small area we get swamped with out of towners coming here dropping the fares to those prices, I had a 30 mile round trip offered for £11 no chance of getting another order anywhere on way back it can take over an hour to complete I won't take them but the fare are a joke.

Do you not work with bolt. A lot of the Southampton taxi drivers have that now. I now use all the time as the driver told me he gets a bigger percentage of the cost rather than uber taking a big chunk.

drivers could unite and form a union refusing all jobs under a set price. Force uber to give more to drvers or up the rates on customers forcing customers to go else where and uber goes bust. So they wont. Haven't seen a good union strike in years

I use bolt in Southampton and all the taxi drivers thank me for it everytime. Tends to be cheaper than uber on our end but pays the drivers much more percentage.
