You're not weird, the thumbs up is condescending to me as well... I personally usually will ♥️a conversation if I am running behind or just let someone let someone know I saw the message but can't quit respond because I am on the road or busy with my kiddos. I personally prefer a mix of talking, texting, and face timing.... You're not alone in that though I take the words for face value and try to always stay positive about what I am reading but I have a tendency to think everyone is like me when they are texting and have good intentions. 🫶🫶🫶
