Unboxing and Samples of the Ricoh GRIV from my recent Tuscany trip! After @cj.filmed.it recommendation, I decided NOT to buy the Fujifilm X100VI and instead go for the Ricoh GRIV - and boy was I impressed! It was the first time that I was actually using a pocketable camera. I have used the X100VI in the past and it wasn’t THIS pocketable. The image quality is top notch, the colors straight out of camera are fantastic, and the Ricoh recipes do magic! Especially paired with the built in customization, this bad boy can do wonders. Now real talk - I don’t think this camera is for everyone. It misses a ton of features, it’s simple, and super expensive for what it actually offers (spec-wise). This camera, is for people who already have that big-boy camera at home, and just wanna capture memories in the best way possible. When you strip the camera from all its fancy features, what actually remains is pure photography and creative skills. And that’s what you pay for here. I’m still debating whether I’ll be keeping this or not, or whether I’ll be trading it in for another X100VI, but while in Tuscany I really enjoyed it and I got photos that I otherwise wouldn’t have got! #ricoh #griv #ricohgriv #x100vi #fujifilmx100vi
