@pressplayatl: I typically don’t post about customer service at restaurants because I understand that people have bad days and honest mistakes happen. However, my experience today at Lin’s Chinese Cuisine at Windward in Alpharetta, GA, needs to be shared. I placed an order with the male owner, and everything was fine. After receiving my food, I went to my car and then returned inside to eat. I also ordered a bottle of water, which he kindly gave me free of charge. I sat down and began eating while he was seated at the table next to me. Less than 10 minutes later, a woman whom I believe was the other owner came out aggressively and told me I had to leave. I was confused and asked why she was approaching me that way. She told me to take my food and eat somewhere else. I repeatedly asked her to stop walking toward me so aggressively and to calm down. As I tried to put my food back into the containers and leave, she continued speaking to me aggressively and threatened to call the police. I told her I would call them myself. The entire situation was confusing and unnecessary. The male owner allowed me to order, never said the restaurant was takeout-only, and sat beside me while I ate without mentioning a problem. Based on my personal experience, I would advise anyone in Alpharetta to be cautious when visiting this establishment.
