I had my first eye done 3 days ago I never had an eye patch. I’m going to have second one done next week. I see improvement in my vision already so happy I finally had the courage to do it.

I've had both eyes done its wonderful not having to have glasses for distant i do for reading. Operations were easy worst part for me was putting drops in which I hate doing

Just had both eyes done in the last 3 months, best decision ever, back to 20/20 vision with just slight astigmatism in one eye. Night driving is still a challenge though.

I hope you had better results than me. I lost all my near vision, from arms length in. I was told I wouldn't have to wear glasses again. now, I can't read labels, do cross stitch, read, see what im eating unless im wearing cheaters. if I had it to do over, I wou remove the cataracts and be able to do all the daily important things without being chained to glasses.

I had an IV that was supposed to relax me- it did not! I had numbing drops, I felt it when the instrument was inserted into my eye! Told the surgeon this and he said tell the anesthesiologist next time to give you more in the IV. 2 weeks later had the second eye done. Told the anesthesiologist what I needed, asked for more numbing eye drops. Had the same experience as the first eye.

I only had to wear the plastic shield when I went to sleep at night and only for the first night. I don’t think you need it now.

I had it done 2 months ago. I have had nothing but trouble. I still have vision issues. They have released me. I’m really disappointed. I even pd for special lens.

Cataract surgery is so so quick. I am an optometrist tech and I got to shadow an eye surgeon to watch surgeries. It’s sooooo cool! People don’t realize how quick it is. The meds that help you relax are really nice. Some people don’t remember the surgery the next day. Congratulations on new vision!

I’m one week out from my first cataract surgery. Mine went great with no complications and very little pain. My second surgery is scheduled for late October.. I hope you have great success with your journey.
