beautiful analysis, I also believe bellamy’s devil fruit/coils that are used to stretch further reiterate his realist views, whereas luffy’s body stretching demonstrates idealism. you cannot physically stretch your body but luffy’s fruit allows for him to do so, and their fruits play a role or rather are a reflection of themselves internally, allowing for you to see their contrast in beliefs. coils eventually have a limit of proportionality and will break, (realistically)whereas luffy’s ability to stretch is influenced by his willpower and freedom,amazing💖

as a reforming realist might I offer the word "evidentiarian" as someone dogmaticlly addicted to only accepting that which is proven with evidence to the individual specifically; its an incredibly closing mind way to live, makes you progressively smaller over time and if you're big enough you can make the world smaller alongside you.
