@wildernesssociety: Rep. Gabe Vasquez, chair of the Congressional Public Lands Caucus, took to the House Floor to sound the alarm about the administration’s ongoing effort to dismantle the agencies and protections that safeguard our shared lands. Public lands protect clean air and water, sustain wildlife and give us the freedom to explore the outdoors. The American people overwhelmingly want these places protected and passed on to future generations, not handed over to powerful interests for short-term profit. It’s up to all of us to speak up. One of the most significant public lands protections currently under attack is the Roadless Rule, which safeguards 45 million acres of our national forests from roadbuilding and logging. We need to speak up before it's too late.
